This is the first step in booking your pet photography experience with gina soule photo! we understand not everyone enjoys talking on the phone, so This can be done with quick 15-20 minute phone call with gina, or can be done over texting for your convenience. Through this we are able to explore exactly what you are looking for in your pet photography experience. this is a great time to ask any questions from location, time of year, and fine art offerings. we will go over the entire process and our full-service boutique approach to our sessions. please note that due to our exclusive limited availability, session fee is required to secure the date for your session,
1. the consult
Prior to our session together, we want to make sure that every detail is planned perfectly. as an animal photographer and fellow pet parent, we know how important planning can be when it comes to ensuring your pet’s happiness. from favorite treats, activities and toys, personality, fears, and likes/dislikes, no stone, detail, or paw-print is left unturned during this session. this is also when the creative process truly begins. we always photograph with intention, and knowing what we are photographing to create, always keeping the end goal in mind, can help us to set the perfect stage for the day of the photoshoot.
This session typically takes place over zoom, but can also take place over a phone call.
2. The Planning Session
with every detail perfectly planned, it is now time for your session! during this, you and your pet’s only job is to enjoy the experience together and to live in the moment of the bond you share. from posing you amongst the pines during golden hour with your dog, to fixing stray hairs, or helping to perk up your horse’s ears for the perfect expression, we will help guide you along every step of the way. whether it be you and your dog playing fetch along the rocky coastlines of maine, to enjoying the freedom galloping through a field at sunset gives you with your heart horse, we are here to capture and to tell the story of you and your pet doing exactly what you love to do the most together.

4. The reveal and design session
the pièce de résistance of your gina soule photo experience, the reveal session! this usually takes place 2-3 weeks after your session, and we will go through your portraits one by one together, reliving these special moments spent with your four-legged best friend. we are here to guide you through every point in this process, and to help make suggestions about images that compliment each other, and your home; always keeping your end vision in mind.
with our design expertise, and full service approach, we are able to create mockups, choose framing colors and appropriate finishes, right on the walls of your very own home. together we will craft the perfect pieces of art in real-time, giving you a first-hand sneak peak of your finalized piece of art and how it will perfectly complement the interior of your home.
each and every one of our products come from very best award—winning photographic labs that produce museum-quality products. from hand-stitched albums imported from italy, to archival float mount framed prints on handmade paper from countryside in England, your products are created with archival inks that are guaranteed to not fade or change for decades to come. we offer a wide array of products to fit each client’s personal taste and budget. our fine art matted print collections on handmade canson rag paper start at $550, and our heirloom wall art offerings from award-winning italian craftsmen start at $700. Hand-stitched albums start at $2,500 for 20 images, and high resolution digital images with print release start at $350. Most clients invest an average of $1500+ on their full experience, and we are happy to offer in-house zero interest payment plans to all clients to help bring the portraits you’ve dreamed of to life.
