Frequently Asked Questions:
-
No off leash? No problem! Since we will be in an urban setting, all dogs will remain on-leash for their safety. I will even bring specialty collars for your dogs to wear that are easy to remove in post-processing, so it appears as if the were off-leash the entire time!
-
No training? No problem here! Your dog’s portrait sessions isn’t about stellar obedience, it is about letting them be 100% themselves. From zoomies in all directions, to exploring their surroundings, there has never been a dog, no matter the training level, that I haven’t been able to create breathtaking one-of-a-kind portraits of!
-
Honestly, dogs are kind of like potato chips in my mind, you can’t ever have just one! And if you have more than one pup in your household, it just wouldn’t be fair to not create art from your session featuring them all! Each specialty session time slot has a 2-dog limit, so if you have more than 2 dogs, please choose an additional time slot so that we can’t include all of them in on the fun.
-
Of course you can be in the photos with your dog! I don’t just allow this, I encourage it! Your dog is your best friend; embrace the moment, take the photo, and love the lasting memories of you two, together.

We live in a digital age - so why art?
Imagine the emotions you feel when you catch sight of your dog’s portrait displayed on the walls of your own home as you walk to make your morning cup of coffee, or imagine flipping through the pages of an album that captures an entire afternoon of memories that you two shared. Have you ever felt this way with an online gallery link that you’ve lost in your email? Yeah, me either. That is the power of physical artwork; it provides an experience that digital mediums simply just cannot replace or replicate.
The friendship you and your dog share is tangible, your art should be too.
